Assist with collection of donated funds
from classroom sponsors.
PERAMATHON
Obtain
sponsors, distribute materials, collect pledge sheets,
count laps, hand out water, check returned pledges, etc.
PINNACLE
Plan,
assist and support all aspects of this dinner & auction.
Obtain donors & sponsors generate advertising, help with
student art projects, set-up, check-out, and clean-up.

Committee to reach out to Pine View
families in times of personal tragedy.

To collect and sort food labels for

Assist with periodic expressions of

organize and facilitate annual conference focused on
gifted education.
GRANT
WRITING COMMITTEE
Assist
in search for grant opportunities. Meet as needed.
Grant writing skills are helpful, but not necessary.

Coordinate annual wish list of
teacher/classroom needs.

VIEW PRIDE
Student recognition committee for grades
2 – 12. Includes monthly and quarterly Pine View Pride
days honoring our high achieving students.
PROUD
PYTHONS
Student of the Month recognition for
elementary students.
SCHOOL
STORE
Parents are needed to run the store
before school and during lunch times.
ART
DISPLAY
Parents are needed to matte, frame and
hang student artwork for display, on a monthly basis.
ARTWORK PRESENTER
Present
famous pieces of art to classes for discussion and
related activities.
BOOK
FAIR
Set up, break down and assist students
during the book fair.
CLERICAL HELP
Help is
needed to stuff report card envelopes on a quarterly
basis.
COLLEGE RESOURCE ROOM
Assist
high school students with computer programs and written
material that help identify career interests. Training
is provided.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Foreign
language teachers need adults that speak Spanish and/or
French to assist students and to aid in enrichment
activities.
GRADUATION
Organize ceremonies and receptions for
grades 5, 8, and 12.
JUDGES
Judges are needed for art, speech
competitions, and science fair.
MEDIA
CENTER
Sort media materials, shelf books, and
monitor students on computers and the Internet.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Organize
set-up, and clean-up event, timekeepers, hand out water.
YEARBOOK PICTURES
Assist
students on picture taking days in the fall.
